As the choir finish and head out into the wintry night, an old man sits quietly amongst the angels. Recalling a promise he made many years ago, he finds himself remembering a life he isn’t even sure is his own. Little had he realised that a phone number scribbled in faded lipstick on the back of an old photograph would change his life forever.

"Queen of the Redwood Mountains" is a story of love and loss filmed in London, Paris, Tangier and the redwood forests of Big Sur over a period of almost twenty years. "Queen of the Redwood Mountains" is director Nic Saunders' unrequited love letter to The Beat Generation.
